You can't deny it. Even with Firefox that doesn't run that good yet on MacOS, not even speaking of Safari support, the Apple community is growing.
Edit: (original functionnal title woz 'BETTER Apple support on dAV5').
Over the stamp:
Well, we need better Apple support on deviantArt, for a much more enjoyable browsing experience!
Face it, we're an expanding community ^^

note if used, pls. ^^
Edit2: This is a place that i wish was spontaneously turning in a collection of testimonies about one notices the need dA to improve on supporting your mac experience ^^ *drools* any frustrations? here's a spot, feel free to leave a comment! Happy about it? Hm.
Edit3: dAmn now works with Camino 1.0.3 but no thumbz display (?) and well it launches on Safari but the entered text won't display in the window, seems to be a refresh issue.
Ok, as a Mac user... what problems are there with Safari? The only thing I don't like is the old message center with Safari, but I can live with that. What are the problems I didn't figure out?
peskaa [link] seems to have aggregated some user's view about this subject. I basically reacted tot that fact.
When it comes to my experience, I stopped browsing da with safari for everything that was related to profile editing and submission, and on my powermac, firefox is not being really stable and is quite slow, which is not directly related to da, but though I find tab switching painfully slow and it's only on da. Some scripts are bugging as well, and having firefox to crash in the end.
Na ja.. Well it's a picky issue. I've made it my default browser, although I constantly look for a better solution. What is sure is that it could run better using less ressources, it lags on my powerbook in a way it doesn't on a pc. Still is a great browser, though, and still gets meh choice.
If I had a subscription, I would definitely use this. My sister uses a Mac...therefore, I care about such things. Hell, I'd get a Mac if I weren't so dependent on a lot of Windows-only software.

I've had a couple of problems, I'm not sure whether it is related to v5 or Safari.. such as when you fullview something, the 'favourite' and all that ends up going over part of the picture. Thanks for your note pointing this to me, anyways.
True. I've had it too, though it may be kinda useful, except that sometimes it just freezes over and just won't go.
Thanks for your understanding and participation of making things move forwards: don't hesitate pointing more witnessing over here, hopefully there's progress and more reactions coming in. Greetings to peskaa on my behalf, the silence made me worry a little. I understand, for it's my first such contribution here so I hope things haven't been made too wacky by mehieh. ^^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
